House Rules
Every good party has a few
A few ground rules to keep this space honest, useful and worth coming back to.

1. Don't be a dick
Rate the festival, not the people.
You can hate the sound, the crowd, the lines or even the whole weekend — that's fair game. "The crowd was rude" or "people were aggressive" is helpful feedback. Making it personal or just being mean is not.
The scene runs on PLUR — peace, love, unity, respect. Same goes here.

2. Make it count
Every rating you leave matters.
Your ratings are a part of your legacy and contribute to the festival's score, so make it count! A few things to consider to make the most out of your rating:
Context
The year you went, and what you were there for. A first-timer and a veteran see the same weekend differently.
Specifics Over Vibes
Entry lines were brutal after 9pm beats "it was a mess." The detail is what people will find useful.
The Good And The Bad
Most weekends are some of both. Pointing out the positives and negatives can help both your future self and future attendees.
Tips
Anything you'd tell a friend before they go: when to show up, what to bring, where to stand, etc.

3. Know the hard no's
NO hate and harassment
We have zero tolerance for attacks based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or anything like it. This includes threats, harassment, or content targeting someone specific.
NO sharing personal info
Don't post anyone's private details — phone numbers, addresses, socials, etc. Yours or anyone else's.
NO fakes
Don't rate festivals you didn't go to, don't impersonate anyone and if you're affiliated with a festival — organizer, staff, sponsor — don't rate it as an attendee.
NO spam or ads
No ads, referral links, discount codes, affiliate marketing, or sketchy links. No copy-pasting the same thing across festivals.

4. Look out for each other
If you see a rating that crosses a line, report it (you'll need an account to report — keeps things accountable).
Depending on what's going on, we might remove the rating, edit out personal info, or in some cases, limit or ban the account. We go case by case, and we lean toward keeping people around when we can.
We're human, so we get it wrong sometimes. If something of yours got pulled and you think it shouldn't have, reach out with the festival name and roughly when you posted. We'll take another look and get back to you.
